STAGE 6 TRACKING

STAGE 6: ARICA > CALAMA

Connection 331km | Special Stage 454km | Total 785km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The first special stage held in Chile will take competitors back to the Atacama Desert: they will be faced with sand and dunes for two thirds of the distance. But two specific sections of the stage will be timed: the latter will allow them to rediscover fesh fesh, which is unlikely to enthuse them. Overall, the day will be very long, at a stage where the competitors’ bodies will start to suffer from the lack of sleep, particularly for those who have experienced some incidents. At the head of the race, a ranking which is already probable is taking shape: the real candidates for the Top 10 are apparent.

yeah it has issues, that is why you have to 'pop it out' into it's own window.

Engineers are working on it.

Thats three stage wins out of 6 for Nasser.
The guy is fast.
Peter has not won a stage yet, but is still ahead of Nasser in the overall standings....barely.
The guy is consistent.
When we do do well, we are still losing time to one or the other of them
We are good, but to win stages, our only chance for glory, we still need to be faster.
Gas on !

Fly has always calculated you can win rally without any stage wins or trouble.

for example, Despres is currently in 2nd place, about a couple of minutes out of the lead. His stage finishing results so far - 5,12,3,14,5,3. Never higher than 3rd, yet in 2nd overall.

Nitros !! See if ASO notices now being so far back.
