Speed Magazine has just put out it's 200th issue and has a list of 100
things they want to see in all forms of racing in the near future. Number
10 is "Robby Gordon winning Dakar in Argentina". Also, they have a
paragraph under their "Spin" section that says "Dakar, the movie will
follow 4 teams from different parts of the world as they prepare for and
participate in the Dakar. Has anybody heard anything about who these
teams will be?

Well if the movie is being made by a U.S film company for release in the U.S, then I would think the Dakar movie would follow Mark Miller USA driver for the top team Volkswagen. Then I would think Team USA with Robby Gordon with Hummer. Then maybe Dale White's USA White Lightning team which runs a SPD buggy with Darren Skilton as a driver. Darren is the USA representative for Dakar. The I would think it would be Chris Blaise the USA KTM rider.

These would be the teams I would think they would film is this was a U.S based movie. But if this movie is being done for the rest of the world then I would expect the only USA coverage would be Mark Miller with the factory VW team.

One thing is if this was going to happen it would be posted on RDC first. As several of the Dakar competitors do go and post on there. There is even a team from Dubai that posts on RDC, and I have not seen any of this news.
There's an article out of Charlotte, N.C. on www.frontstretch.com about Dakar, the movie. announcing that
Leverage Sports has been selected as the agency for the movie. It is being produced by Anonymous Content which looks like it's a U.S. company. It will be distributed worldwide and be a full length movie. It will air throughout the year on a nationally syndicated motorsports network (sounds like Speed) . There's no mention of the featured teams.
It would be great if they did a segment on Chris. Seeing as he is only the third American to ever trophy in Dakar. Maybe they would also do a footnote as to how he is doing since his accident. BTW, did you know that he has actually done two races in his new RZR? He did his first race at Pismo for a spinal cord injury fundraiser and the latest was in NV where he took 2nd on a stock RZR against some super cool custom RZR's.
This my friends would be the main prize! Nuff said.....
