Robby Gordon #315 ( Started 13th, finished 2nd )

We started very far back this morning but we caught and overtook loads of cars, so it was a good day for us. We needed to do this, but we also needed to take time back from Peterhansel, on whom I'm clearly focusing my race, and we only clawed back just over 2 minutes.

My car's fast, but so are the Minis, we'll see... Al-Attiyah's also fast, as we saw today with his win and his recovery from yesterday's stage... I'm still racing to win the overall, I've got my work cut out for me, but we're going to do our best in every single stage.

In my mind I'm picturing like 8 of those trucks in a convoy on the beach when all of the sudden a dirtbike comes ripping past them riding a wheelie.

love that clip

Good stuff from Carlos Sainz on twitter-
They argue that today they are not sure the GPS problem. That happened today I have changed! Bad news. The organization has decided to get the penalty of 21 mnts. Shame wanna take the suitcases.

That's awesome! Already been adjusted on Dakar.com.. Sainz is 5 min in front of RG in 10th Overall! Guess they didn't buy his song and dance after all.

yea I think the ASO would have to be looking at a lot of drivers times

Only 3 days in and the gaps are fairly large in the top 15, Robby could get into the top 5 by Wednesday with a couple more good runs

day 1-137th o/a
day 2-29th o/a
day 3-13th o/a
I like the direction
