NASCAR announced their testing schedule and the first test of the 2013 cars will be at 'dega next month. RG said earlier in the season that he was planning to run Daytona in 2013. So, does anyone know if that is still in his plans and if he will be at that test session? There are others listed later in October, will he have a car at any of them?

Oh, one other thing I forgot to mention is that I think it was mentioned on Jayski that at least the first test date would be of little to no use since the teams will not have the actual sheet metal that would be required from the manufacturers. "They Say" that the manufacturers are running behind on getting the new pieces they supply ready to send out.

I'd guess part of Finch chassis problems is Kurt has torn up alot of them. The COT chassis is mostly unchanged for 2013.

mike does nascar charge the teams to have a new body certified or a chassis if it is changed to 2013 spec

I know Na$crap charges the teams to certify new chassis (highest cost). Clipped chassis (front or rear) (less'r expense) I didn't think Na$crap charged for body damaged cars (the certified chassis parts in place on the chassis they where certified on) The mounts on the chassis that hang a body are not certified (as best as I read the rule book, Thanks TOG)
As far as the bodies,Na$crap makes teams buy a claw (from Joe Gibbs Racing for a stupid amount of money)
than it has to pass pre-practice,Q,race tech.

Oh ok, good. then we can miss this test then.

So what happens to the #7 in NASCAR? Does Robby have to give it up? Even if he doesn't race next year I'd like to see anybody get it but Danica. Let me know TOG

Danica never wanted the #7, the only reason she has the #7 in the NNS was because at the time part of the clause Andretti put on letting her race NNS while still under contract to him was that she was to run the #7 (he hoped that merchandise sales would transfer over to the IRL merchandise for her). Heck the only reason she ran #7 in Indycar was because she was hired to replace Bryan Herta at Andretti and he drove the #7 car.

#10 however (he Cup number) is the actual number she picked as her racing number when she was a little kid first starting racing. That was/is her racing number, probaly if she'd play other sports she'd try to get jersey #10, etc.
