Simply put: I. CANNOT. WAIT!!!!!! Gas on Robby!

I was hoping to get an engraved account on how testing went???

All in for a win or a top 10...if not, i hope for 1 good brake hop......& Home Depot gets closed for the day. respect your elders son. but F' that...winners circle and the Wine Goblet!

There is a chance that qualifying will be effected by rain tomorrow. Weather.com has a 30% listed for mid day now. They have been slowly increasing the percentage for rain yesterday and today. I wonder if they have as many dryers as an oval track does? Races at Sonoma go on rain or shine except for this one. Rain is more likely to mess up the single practice season then qualifying probably.

I'm not so sure about races going rain or shine at Sears. I can tell you for fact I've driven 12hours to get there (Sears) only to have it misting and the races get cancelled (more than once) Local's claim the track doesn't drain well .I believe that, as the corners have very little banking (lack camber) AFM North races.

Mike, that is good to know and I didn't have a clue. I assumed that because it was a road course the races went on rain or shine.

I live an hour east of the track and it is 60 degrees right now at 8 PM. A few days ago it was at least 95 at 8 PM so the weather is changing. I just checked back at weather.com and now it is only a 10% chance of rain. So probably not a problem.

wont matter if it rains. #95 is the go home car in a rainout

it would suck to have to start at the rear of the field becouse of Q getting rained out.You hav to be in it to win it.

If first practice is completed they will go off practice speeds to set lineup.

Thanks tog now this is really helpful ive been trying to follow the practice and alot of other rg racing sibjects now i can just click here and see time and dates this is just suweet

Good interview. Robby sounds really confident of the car, the strategy, and his overall chances at Sonoma. I get the feeling that the team/car maybe is a little better prepared than in past years. I don't know why... I know they have a ton of stuff going on right now, but the daily grind of the cup schedule can sometimes be a real drain. I feel like there's some energy coming into this race (of course maybe that's the Speed Energy going to my head...).
