Car related "Is thank You enough" ??
While things are dry for a day or so I figured I'd blow in with a little happening that I was so fortunate enough to be a part of. Cars...........there you covered it............Cars.
I was hunting the "FREE" section of craigslist. Free old Hot Rod magazines. DUH. Try about 150 Hot Rod mags and at least 100 car craft plus some Vette and others. And here I sit thinking when I got them from the guy I thanked him..... from the heart I thanked him. Then I thumbed a couple dozen and thought.....that was not enough.......half off my chair I admit I was saddened because my spoiled little self was not treated to a stack from the sixties or what have you. The first one I read is the 1998 October a story about some chap "surfers" but not and how they ran 100% nitro...........I gave 3 mags away.....3 and the story is a two parter and now have to go back to find if Nov. 1998 was one of them. Was Thank You Enough? I don't think so. I say it like it is or at least how my warped mind does and I was truly thankful. What I'll do is this, get some of these in the hands of friends who are fans of "certain cars". The hand held print you will have to pry it from my........lets see a beer and cigar in one a mag in the other with my arms around..............FREE. A Thank You is free use it. Thank You for reading my rabble.
