Thanks Mr Gordon for what you do and what you are. Most of the people who like off road in France are on your side and so disappointed of Peterhansel behaviour (knock down a biker in a deep rio water in order to save a couple of seconds, ask for your engine inspection, keep crying as a baby knowing his car and his driver capability are not in line with yours) and global Dakar organisation.

You and TOYO are already the WINNER for us.

Thank you for your post. There are nice folks everywhere. We need to remember that.

Merci, tres bien!

thanks for the post!

J'ai passé le temps en France et aime les personnes françaises. Merci de votre appui. Stephan' ; le comportement de s est honteux en France.

showoff! :-)

Wish I spoke French like Clance' but fortunatly you are fluent in english. We have done some bashing here on the planet and you Emmanuel have come here with an open mind and total honesty and have set straight bad feeling towards many caused by a few. Thank you very much and look forward to reading what you have to add during the race day chat.Again thank you and take care.

It's really refreshing to see a man of true sportsmanship who appreciates inequities when they see them. ASO. FIS.FIA etc rule by fiat. Just look at the tour de France. Those of us that appreciate sport at it's raw best have difficulty with obvious attempts to manipulate rules to justify preferential treatment.Thank you Emmanuel!!

ALL normal French, not only those "who like off road"
I am an old engineer, have lived 1940-61 in West Africa, LOVED Paris-Dakar race, written large software applications including designing and computing of suspensions, which helped me admire Robby's Hummer's whole conception and particularly its suspension. I love fairness and I HATE how France is more and more subdued by unfairness. Go on Robby, we normal people need you!

Hi guys I'm a french man near Bordeaux
My father has done 25 Dakar (82-07) then I know this rally on my fingers...
I like Peterhansel for what he done in the past and he's a great champion.
But on stage 9 he done the BIGGEST MISTAKE in pushing the biker !!!
For me and all off-road french fans he should have penalties for that and I'm sad
to see that he's "protect by the organisation" . But I read that if it was an amateur he
will be penalized... Not sure because there won't have any images....
WHY NOT SENDING A MAIL TO THE BOSS OF THE ORGANISATION ?

OR GERARD HOLTZ THE FRENCH PRESENTATOR?
http://fr-fr.facebook.com/pages/G%C3%A9rard-Holtz/82910905520
But stay correct even if you don't want ! GO Robby as fast as you can to finish on the top!!
Bye Jérôme ARNOUX

Well said , thank you! your opinion means alot

Thanks,
Please know jabs at France & the French are not meant for all, just a chosen few...

well as an American I can't tell you how many anti-American posts I've read over the years on other message boards. It's really countless times, so it is refreshing to see others get their bashing, even if it is unfair and wrong.

so now you know how us Americans feel because of this, we certainly have gotten our share of bashing from the rest of the world.
