Real short here guys but I was shocked to see such a thin belt Nasser was holding, that thing looked like, well a..............light duty belt. yes I know my place and if it is on the car it is good enough but never having seen one first hand I was a bit surprised by what was responsible for his demise. And he spoke the truth not in hummer they are not coming back with that body right??? For me that's short.

Maybe you have to be there this weekend for pre-race activities/runs /inspections? I don't know anything about WCR ... but you would think he would not want to miss the first race of a series.

We will see if he is in the car after the team put out press releases he would not be.

Did any details surface about this repeat belt failure?

And any on if Nasser left RGM on good terms?

I would think that perhaps since this relationship ended up crumbling on the mechanical front and turned out nothing like anyone had hoped, what was said behind closed doors is going to remain behind closed doors. It was great that the defending champion no matter who that may have been was part of RGMs effort to win this year. Equally sad was the way it ended up but nobody can question Robby Gordons class as he sacrificed his own position to preserve his partners. If Nasser left mad thats his loss. To a degree dejection can be mistaken for bitterness and perhaps anger as well. I'm sure there are two opposite sets of feelings on this, one being Robs and one being Nassers. In my opinion we got all we will ever get from Rob about it and anything else will have to come from Nasser or a leaky RGM employee.
