Give me another belt, this time no ice.

Real short here guys but I was shocked to see such a thin belt Nasser was holding, that thing looked like, well a..............light duty belt. yes I know my place and if it is on the car it is good enough but never having seen one first hand I was a bit surprised by what was responsible for his demise. And he spoke the truth not in hummer they are not coming back with that body right??? For me that's short.

in the video they showed on NBC sports last night Robby did say Al-Attiyah wanted out 4 days ago( 5 with today) and he should have just changed the belt so maybe he was carrying more that 3 belts? so we should hear soon what really happend there.

I would love to see the guy from Germany who debuted the new X-5 in SCORE coming from a real sweet class 1 car.. His name escapes me right now. He is a wheel man, mature, and knows how to save equiptment.

Robby uses aircraft quality parts on his cars. The belt was fine. Nasser beat the shit out of the truck and bent something, or something seized. After the second belt broke he should have taken a better look at the truck knowing he only had one left and it needed to survive. Oh well, that's racin

Probably has something to do with the fact that Nasser hit the big G-out and made something out of alignment.
The same G-out that bent the spare tire mount that made the spare loose and hit the plumbing that caused the overheat. Ever since that day, he had belt problems. Sure he's good but you still need to save the car for the end.

Dec 15 (Reuters) - Dakar Rally winner Nasser Al-Attiyah is joining eight times world rally champion Sebastien Loeb and Finn Mikko Hirvonen at Citroen next season, the French team said on Thursday.

The 40-year-old Qatari will miss the season-opening Monte Carlo rally in January when he defends his Dakar Rally title but will be available for the Rally of Sweden in February.

I believe now he can make the opener at MC. Just Nasser looking after Nasser.

I don't doubt that this had something to do with it, but this was known well beforehand. Additionally, Monaco doesn't begin until 1/17...after Dakar is over. Why would they say he is going to miss it?
