STAGE 10 TRACKING

STAGE 10: Iquique > Arica

Connection 317km | Special Stage 377km | Total 694km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The drivers will be overcome with even more intense sensations early in the morning. It is precisely at the beginning of the special stage that they will be deeply moved by a spectacular view, combining sand and waves, which continues for several kilometres. The theme will remain constant, since the most experienced experts will be able to surf on the dunes which stretch out for around a hundred kilometres. On the other hand, the difficult fesh-fesh area that will have to be tackled at the end of the special stage will bring everyone back to the tough reality of the long-distance rally.

Don't break the Hummer though. Peterhansel needs to have some bad luck soon.

RG lost a couple more min. in that last stage. Hopefully he can make up ground in the last section of the day

Robby must have had a flat, 4 min behind

Roma is kicking some ass today

17:28 Cars: Gordon stops after 316 km!
Are the Hummer’s cursed? Robby Gordon stopped on the special stage 9 minutes ago, 60 kilometres from the finishing line, for a currently undetermined reason

Hopefully it is just another alternator and not something more serious.

No!!!!!! say it isnt so!!!

17:40 Cars: Gordon back on track
The American was at a standstill on the special for a little more than 11 minutes, but has just got back to grips with the last 60 kilometres.

That will put him about a minute behind Roma in the overall.

That puts Roma into striking distance of taking second. The sand dunes are over so it's back to dirt and rocks again for the last 60, hopefully we won't loose to much time.

Down 00:13:48 at WP7. That puts RG 20 seconds behind Roma in the overall.

Do you think he's flying now!!
