Give me another belt, this time no ice.
Real short here guys but I was shocked to see such a thin belt Nasser was holding, that thing looked like, well a..............light duty belt. yes I know my place and if it is on the car it is good enough but never having seen one first hand I was a bit surprised by what was responsible for his demise. And he spoke the truth not in hummer they are not coming back with that body right??? For me that's short.

+1, Iam sure he LOVED driving that thing, AND was happily suprised with its capabilities. Bummer hes out, it was a BLAST for anyone seeing him pushing that thing to the LIMIT!!

It seems that this was not the first time that there were interference problems with the mounts for various things around the engine. I suspect that next year there will be some accommodations made for the fact that various parts of the frame can get bent, and then smack into things.

I hope he comes back with Citreon. It all depends on how he does next year in WRC and the money he brings, Citreon has had a storied past in Dakar, it will be good to see them back. ASO will cream in their pants to have a french manufacturer. Most probably they will bend every rule in the book to accomodate them.

Yes I know the belt in cup looks like it came off a bicycle. Yes I know Nasser meant not with this team. All I'm saying for being a Hardcore race I was surprised that a very much standard looking belt was on there thats all. No biggie. Before I saw the thing I threw out in chat a little cocked feed creates heat and we all know what that does.

the good thing is, robby doesn't have to wry about nasser, and now his team can focus in one car instead of two. he has everything to win the dakar this year.
