Just saw Chase Miller qualify. We all know where GEM got this sponsorship. Why is it still on a GEM car when the deal is off? GIVE VERIZON/MOTOROLA BACK TO ROBBY!

No offense but you missed the point. As part of the sponsorship/ technical alliance deal Robby signed in Feb., Robby allowed Verizon to sponsor GEM's Nationwide team because they were short on that end. Similarly to how GEM helped RGM by allowing Valvoline and Charter to sponsor Robby a couple of times this year. The Verizon contract was with Robby. My point is that the GEM deal is off, why does Verizon still appear on a GEM car?
He had Motorola in Cup last year. I'm talking about the Nationwide Series
Lemme see if I can clarify anything here. Last year Rob had Moto (audio players I think) on the Cup Car,& Verizon on the Busch car. Verizon, can only be a sponsor in what is now the Nationwide series. Robby has only fielded a NWS car twice this year (Chicagoland,& WG), that I remember. I also remember earlier this year, Rob said he couldn't take the NWS to Canada for lack of sponsorship. So the question is did Verizon not want to spend sponsorship dollars in that mkt, or did Verizon jump ship to GEM?
Valvoline, I can field that one. That one came from GEM @ Daytona, & one race after that. The last time they were on the car however, there was NO GEM connection. Furthermore, I wouldn't be suprised to see them on the 7, (at some point in time) in '09. Don't forget, Robby,& Valvoline have a relationship that dates back way before the gem deal.

Yes it does piss me off!
but then GEM has really been pissing me off!
The guy at Verizon that handles this sponsorship is local to Charlotte.

No big deal. Really
No. Not at all.
