There's a championship for both - but at the Cup level they usually are won by the same car. It's possible (although highly unlikely) that the 18 could still win the owner's championship.

with Gibb's being 57 points behind in 'CUP' owner's points, I'd say there's no chance of a owner's championship.And no I'm not dissing on McDowell's ability.
