Reed out of his Nationwide ride
Just saw on JAYSKI that Reed is uot of his ride at turner motorsports, even though he is third in the standings. It appears to be related to his sponsor - Dollar General - leaving for JGR.
It's a shame that Reed didn't have the relationship with Dollar General that some of these other yahoos have with their sponsors.

If RGM had the money to build or convert a few Cup cars to NW cars, assemble a hauler and equipment to go to 6 races, pay a road & over the wall crew and have to split the winnings (Which were reduced by 20% this year) with a driver. I am thinking RGM would rather take that money and put it into the #7 Cup team and maybe be able to add 2 or 3 more full races to the balance of this season. You have to look at cost vs reward. There would be no profit in assembling a NW team for Reed. RGM would have a much better chance of making a profit by adding a second Start & Park Cup team for the balance of the season.

Isn't Robby in survival mode with his cup team ? Where is the $$ coming from to start a NW team ? Only car of RGM that I see REED in is maybe a few more cup race start n parks. Didnt I read weeks ago that he had CUT BACK his expenses, staff, etc ? Where I come from, CUTTING BACK = SPENDING LESS....I see nothing but people wanting him to spend more and for drivers not named Robby Gordon.

I wish Robby would just set Reed up for the end of the season in RGM Speed nationwide car. If Reed wins the championship then speed gets a lot of exposure.

At least people now have a replacement "should put him in" driver for Ward Burton. Maybe Reed can co-drive the (insert brand) TT or pilot the 2nd Dakar (insert brand) truck.

Why would Robby spend funds to convert CUP car to N/W units, Lease engines just so Reed can finish out the season?
Reed can go out and buy/lease cars and engines to finish his own season out.
If you own your equipment you always have a ride, if you don't ,don't be suprised when you don't have a ride.

Give it up Mike, I said the exact same thing on page two. An then the very next message was someone saying I think it would be great if RG could help Reed. WTF? I can only assume most on here think RGM and Speed Energy have a huge amounts of money to blow and the whole start & park thing is part of the master plan, Spending a bunch of time and money with a shady company called Mi7 was part of the master plan, Running the Dakar program on a shoestring budget is part of the master plan.
Word is the reason Robby wont help Reed is because he is in talks with Hendrick to purchase Hendrick cars and engines like Stewart Haas, plus to insure the Speed Energy name gets out there he will also be a associate sponsor on Jimmie Johnson's #48 all year and a primary on Dale's #88 for a few races. This is the real reason we are not going to see AMP on Dales car next year is because Speed Energy bought out the Amp sponsorship deal and Pepsi is on board with this.
And yes this is all true. The guy that does the landscape in RG's NC home community was trimming the hedges and saw a guy in a business suit talking to Robby. The landscape guy's child is def so he can read lips. He was able to read the lips of Robby and the man in the suit, and that is what he saw them talking about. And both the man in the suit and Robby would hold there belly's and laugh at the end of every master plan they talked about. Now the Landscape guy told his friend who details cars in NC. That guy was from California and still has family here and he told them about this. His family races off-road racing and through that connection is how I was able to get this secret info. I'm sure TOG is not going to be happy that I have leaked this out, but in weeks to come he will be able to confirm everything I have said. 2012 is going to be the best year ever!
