Robby claims he's been defrauded in a failed deal with Gillett Evernham Motorsports

NASCAR star Robby Gordon claims he's been defrauded in a failed deal with Gillett Evernham Motorsports and wants a judge to excuse a million dollar bill.

Gordon's company made a deal to merge with Gillett Evernham Motorsports (a huge race team owner). According to legal documents, an investment company was hired to make the deal. But Gordon claims the deal went south because it was "fraudulently induced." As a result, Gordon and Co. want the judge to excuse an obligation to pay a $1,013,656 investment fee.

no shit.......who in their right mind would enter into a contract with Robby? I'm not saying ALL these deals fall on the shoulders of Robby...but there is one common denomenator....
Robby has attracted the worst kind of karma, makes you wonder if all the crap you hear rumors about in his personal life are is fact true. That would do it. He needs to go off someplace alone without media or women and spend a few days looking at his life and the soap opera it is rapidly becoming. I beleive he can pull out of this downward spiral, but only if he gets real with himself.
From the posts on here you would think RG is the dumbest person alive.

He knows what he is doing. He might not have a lot of nascar wins to show for it, but all you have to do is look at his net worth. Oh yea, Uncle John (Menard) is always helpful too. You think RG is involved with a lot of lawsuites, check out that guy...
I've seen it posted on here before...but let me say it again...I don't care what the man drives or who he drives for I just wanna see him race in the best equipment possible. If it takes suing NASCAR themselves, so be it. I could care less if it's Ford, Chevy, Dodge OR the Yoyo...Roush, Hendrick, Penske, DEI or RGM....I just want him to get his shit together and race and be competitive on a regular basis....oh yeah with some stickers on the car too
hmm, TMZ. And someone actually reads that crap and believes it? They have the credibility of the Star or the Inquirer as far as I'm concerned. Just look at the guy who owns it! Robby has the right to make his own decisions and suffer his own consequences. We can bitch and moan but in the end, it's his life. If this is all we have going on in ours, we are a sad group of people. Don't get me wrong, I love racing of all kinds and it takes up some hours a week for me. And I have what my son calls the "Robby Shrine" in my home office, but it doesn't control my life. His decisions don't change my life. I just wish he made better choices and TMZ would stay out of racing and worry about Paris or Kim.
Robby on TMZ. Looks like our boy is a Hollywood star. LOL. I watch that show all the time and have only ever seen 1 driver and the was Jeff. Pretty cool that Robby made the show if you ask me.
Hate to admit it, I don't know what TMZ is. I am probably the only one.
No. you're not.
I don't watch tabloid TV either.
isn't it public record
Once again more speculation. Robby's legal team is top class. Trust me. In all matter of fact unless you are Robby's lawyer(which I know no one here is) or Work in the office of Team Gordon, you probably don't have the inside info on the deal. This will all work out for Robby, just like the last 4 years of legal troubles that have occured. They have gone Robby's way and much of that can be contributed to Robby's legal team.
Hey, just 20 or so of those $50,000 dollar speaking egagements and it's paid for LOL!.................
Just kidding, I think Robby is the most dynamic racer out there.
All Issues Between Gordon and Gillette Evernham are Resolved
Robby Gordon Motorsports and Gillett Evernham Motorsports issued a joint statement today confirming that all issues between them are resolved. As previously announced, the two auto racing firms acknowledged that they acted in good faith in connection with their former merger plans. Recent news reports concerning a lawsuit between RGM and a business broker have suggested that RGM and GEM are in a continuing legal dispute. Those news reports are incorrect. GEM is not a party to RGM's lawsuit, and no claims are being asserted against GEM.
