Join in here and discuss all the weekend action for the 2011 Watkins Glen cup race. RGM will have 2 cars at The Glen, Robby Gordon in the #7  PJ Jones in the #77. Here is the weekend schedule for RGM at the New York track.

FRIDAY , AUGUST 12th

 Practice           12:00pm - 1:50 pm/et   ( TV - SPEED )
 Practice             4:10pm - 5:30 pm/et   ( TV - SPEED )

SATURDAY , AUGUST 13th

 Qualifying         11:40am - 2:00 pm/et   ( TV - SPEED )

SUNDAY , AUGUST 14th

 Raceday           1:00 pm/et , greenflag at 1:19 pm/et  ( TV - ESPN )

So, the first practice was to shake down the car... this one we will see what hes got TOG?

He has to GET IN THE SHOW. You cant put the car in the fence . So he will do what he has to do to feel comfortable in the car, while knowing it does have more speed in it come race day ( driving harder in turns, etc )

A wrecked car = an early trip home.

He is doing everything according to their plan, although they have had a few challenges that have been resolved. ENJOY!

10-4 on that. There's a fine line between the driver resisting to squeeze a little more out of it and sticking it in the fence.

PJ did a mock Q run. All he needs is to beat 3 cars.

The 50 & 60 have been really bad in both practices. The 7 & 77 have them beat by at least 1 second.
