So what are Robby Gordon's plans for next year??

I have read awhile back on jayski that robby might not come back to nascar and run indy?? I hope this is not true, I am a huge robby gordon fan in nascar. Also Is he planning to run the indy 500 next year with speed energy, hope so, i don't watch indy cars nuch, but the indy 500 is a race i think we all watch. Also dirt cars and ect??????


Tell us what he has plan right now :) I think we all are wondering his future plans

My well informed sources tell me the Robby is retiring from nascar racing next year. His focus will be speed energy, use all the money raised for a massive multicar effort at dakar and baja. There, you heard it here first.

If and when Robby gets out of NASCAR Planet Robby will be a ghost town. Lets face it our society has become a need to have it now and because of this we now have a short attention span. Robby's involvement in NASCAR keeps 90% of the PR members coming back daily or weekly to see what is new. If Robby only focused on Speed Energy, the Baja races and Dakar, Robby would lose much his newer fan base because that daily or weekly news or race will not be there.

But with that said Robby's fan base has not been what has kept him in the drivers seat, his driving talent and business savvy has. His fan base has helped launched Speed Energy, but once Speed Energy has a solid footing in the energy drink market, it will no longer be about Robby Gordon as it will be about the drink and the other sports and athletes that Speed supports. Those will be the athletes that will bring fans to Speed Energy. A course this is only my opinion and I could be totally wrong. I guess we will just have to wait and see what the future brings.

Robby's plans for 2012. Run for President as an independent. And of course talk Krispy Kreme into the Speed Energy doughnut.

I would hope Robby takes a serious look at Indy Cars. The change back to turbo charged engines, switch to 3 engine manufacturer's in the 2012 season and aero kits in 2013; I love the direction that Indy Cars are headed. I hope that RG at least looks to drive in Select Indy races.

Two time Indy winner and series champ Dan Wheldon won't drive weekly, because there aren't enough competitive rides, and apparently it isn't worth it to jump in a back-marker like Bobby Labonte has done over here...
