Twiiter from Tony Stewart: Congrats to Paul...not John Menard!"
Tony doesn't send John Christmas cards,John say's Tony who or F Tony!
Man im hanging on beinging a rg fan! I guess i will also be one but damn it hurts!!!!!! Gas on!!!
I can see him building his own engines for s n p's, but with wind tunnel testing and being all in, why not use a penske engine. RGM engines have the risk of being 2005 Menard's engines. Too bad but good for Paul Menard, all of daddy's millions of $ bought him a trophy.
$100+k, that's why.
You don't win at the Brickyard based on Dad's $. Paul is turning into a damn good racer.
I agree, Paul's good. And he has a good RCR team behind him.
Any reason RG RARELY runs many practice laps? Blown engine on lap 2 would have shown up if he had run the 'standard' amount of practice laps. He was 'all in' according to this site but sat in the garage 99% of the time.....sniff...sniff...
Becouse RGM has better cars then ervery other team.
sarcasm alert
It's a formula 1 car with a 66 hemi engine...lol
Should have ran a Penske Engine & if anything went wrong just return it with the original receipt...jk.
I see your point on running more practice laps to shake down the engine, especially an in-house motor. All motors are not Bullit-Proof, just ask the Gibbs camp..lol.
Live & Learn...will only make the RGM program stronger...GasOn!
