Hopefully the marketing company that just happens to race has a decent showing on Sunday. Did RG even bother to try? WTF. May sound a little harsh but when you spend all the money to come to Indy and then you start last , I mean come on, thank goodness I have tickets to ORP last night and tonight. Hopefully a decent result takes place Sunday , end of rant.
Yeah, ok..How dare he not try....#FAIL
Jimmy Fenning.....still making it happen on the track ...
Robby Gordon says his team is in "survival mode."

"Probably like 90 percent of the teams out here," he said. "A lot of them won't admit it."

Gordon said he's trying to juggle building his SPEED Energy drink brand, running his race team and focusing on driving all at the same time.

How does he do it?

"It's pretty simple," he said. "If you don't do the (business side), there won't be any driving."

Sorry we missed Robby Thursday night. Good luck Robby - we love you!! Hometown Hipskys~
Robby post qualifying:
ROBBY GORDON (No. 7 SPEED Energy Dodge Charger R/T) Qualified 41st "That was basically our only qualifying run with being locked in (top 35 in owner points). I thought the lap was pretty good and then the 71 beat us, so it must not have been as good as I thought it was. I think that we have a good race car in race trim. We'll just keep working hard on it."
no worries
TOG, true, just disapointed when you have a result like that, hopefully better results happen in the future. On a positive note I rode my motorcycle up to Indy from Missouri and in a fuel stop in St. Louis saw a man w/ a Speed shirt on, suprised the hell out of me , nothing but positive vibes for the weekend. Oh and you are all correct, this track is empty , great seats still avalable from the scalpers near the Speedway, and the Muesem will be the highlight of our trip..simply awesome
Go ROBBY Go :)
the motors are not the issue robby is building good race cars they must just be missing something somewhere if they could find that and get a baseline and go from there we would be sitting pretty so heck yes having 2 cars try to find it is better than 1 big track stay on the lead lap get a lucky break and finish top 15 good luck 2morrow
wasn't robby running good last year and over-ruled the cc pitting and then blew a tire after pitting? if that was the same race, his car was so good last year during tire testing, practicing and the race! weird that you can go from being so fast to slow in just a year, but maybe robby will be right and they have a good car in race trim. it's definitely not a motor issue if he had rgm motor and wimmer had a penske motor...
I don't think RG is worried about Q when he is in the top 35 in points, so sit back fans and see what happens on Sunday, Why bitch every week when you know what the story is this year. Everyone know he cannot compete with the top teams, the money is just not there, Hendrick, Gibbs, Roush and Childress spend hundred of thousands of dollars just to find one or two tenth of speed.
To me RG is more of a success story than Gordon, Stewart ,JR and the rest just to race each week and stay in the top 35
