2011 BULLRUN Race Discussion

This will be the race thread for the 2011 BULLRUN that Robby Gordon will compete in. This year’s rally takes place from July 9th- July 15th, starting in Las Vegas & ending in Miami. Each day will have a different route & the competitors will get their daily route info prior to the start of each day. Stay tuned for more info as it comes in.

Per Twitter;
2 miles before the finish we ran out of gas!! We were racing with Team CCE wheels doing a buck 40! And stopped. Now got some gas at a local.

They sell these things made of plastic that hold almost any kind of fluid I have a few, sometimes I take them on long trips just in case, I pack them next to the spare tire water jack and wheel bearings. Sometimes they are full sometimes not. DOH !!

@Mike, bringing spare fuel on a road trip must be a Mike thing.I don't bring a wheelbearing/s ;-) I prep mine with PurePower grease.

If I understood correctly, they still had one more checkpoint before days end. So keep your fingers crossed they can regain some of that lost ground. & Rob, they(Bullrun) dont steer you thru anywhere. Robby is making his own route, just has to make checkpoints....Daytona is entirely possible

Nice..good to see that Speed is in the hands of a group of people that would expand the brand into the mainstream...TMZ perhaps..jk. Even though I don't even know who this chic is....looks important...lol.
