will this be an start and test now that there is no money from the second car?
Brad has a list of things he wants to try tomorrow night and with Scott being a good test driver (feedback) the radio chatter should be interesting to listen to.
That sounds great, but in order to see how these set-ups and changes work they will need to run the full race. IMO you cant run 100 out of the 267 laps and be truly able to see if the "List of Things" works or not. You need to run long runs, short runs, track changes and see where you stack up against the competition at the end of the night.

Bottom line is we know RGM's Cup program is part time and is scheduled to S&P many races this year. Its not just because RG wants to do other things, it's also because of lack of finances right now. S&P'ing is helping keep the lights on and bills paid.

I believe even when Speed Energy becomes huge and is making the big money that we all hope it will make. I dont think Robby will ever race NASCAR full time again. I dont think he wants too. I think the #7 will become a Wood Bros type of team and RGM will only enter and field cars at races he want to race. The rest of the time we will not see the #7 on the track. And unless he buys turn key cars like Woods are buying, he will be a 25th or worst place car at those races too. The reason is only running 8 to 10 races a year will not keep you up to date and competitive.
I agree.
Pretty sad he got beat by the 46,66 or the 30 car. Think we need to stop calling them start and test. Cause the testing part is not working. Just my opion.
the "what not to do" notebook is growing.
wow cant even beat go or go homers...
It's going to rain anyways. lol
He has a sponsor...
A lot of motorsports teams are sponsored by their owners...its still a sponsor.

See, Ken Block.

He has become a S&P this year because this is a transition year and Robby has other plans for himself and his company. People need to realize this.
Has he tried working other sponsors, or just concentrating everything on Speed? Hate to think what the year would have been without the "shelf space "sponsors.
Dodge, Fast Five, Toyo, Menards, come on...
