Anyone blaming Joey Joe Joe for the mediocre finish just wasn't paying attention. And if the roles were reversed and Joey was that slow and blocking a clearly faster RG going into the hairpin, Robby would have dumped him and people here would have cheered for it. "THATS WHY WE LOVE YOU ROBBY!!!"
true that
Had the scanner on while at the race. Robby told the spotter he wanted to let Joey by. Unfortunately Robby holds a grudge and said on the radio he would physically take care of Joey. Hopefully cooler heads will prevail.
call me nuts, but why was RG all the way on the inside and diving hard into the corner locking the fronts if he was interested in letting Joey Jo Jo by? Doesn't make sense. Granted Logano did hit RG WAAAAAAAAY before the turn, but still...maybe a case of RGs reputation of fighting for every inch every corner getting the best of him and Logano wasn't going to wait to find out...
because he can
Kurt dominated this race, congrats to him. RG was falling behind every time I saw him up front after cautions when he stayed out. Maybe they never got the car right after Kimo wrecked it?? Too bad they didn't have enough $ for PJ to run entire race, would have been interesting to see what he could have done...
Kurt flat out dominated. No one was touching him today. At least it was fun to watch JPM push things so hard after the last yellow....he took a top five car and made it a 22nd place car, but it was fun to watch.
Juan was a rookie today....NOBODY was beating Kurt..that is correct.
I wasn't able to be on here for the chat so I'm sure I missed some valuable info, but it looked like the car couldn't get any power off the restarts and out of the corners... To tall of a gear? SPEED was there on the straights and braking seemed good. I think for what the day was and coming out with an 18th, RG will take that I'm sure and make adjustments for WG. Just hope Daytona is in the plans for next week... A full Daytona
TOG said Daytona was out for next week, keeping my fingers crossed for the audible.
I would think Brickyard would be the next full race.
I would have hoped for Daytona. Trevor Bayne proved damn near anything can happen there. And then skipped until Brickyard and Watkins Glen.

Ah well, not my ship to captain....
