Nascar is covering it's bases. Will review the probation as more information about the situation becomes available. Maybe by next week the probation will be reversed.

Speculation run amuck here.
The thing that really sucks is that RG has a race to focus on - while down on the speed chart....the times are very, very close - hopefully he's getting the balance of the race car figured out.
From a legal standpoint - this stuff is just a distraction. Even if everything written is "true" (with documentation) - this assault case would plead down to a misdemeanor - meaning a fine.
The Extenze lawsuit is tried in a CIVIL court the assault in a CRIMINAL court - different judges, different systems. Not that it matters - dollars to doughnuts the charges are dropped.

Just back from the track.... A little disappointed with the lack of selection on the RGM merch hauler, but the staff saisd that they are getting more stuff in all the time. Hopefully, they will have some botton dows and jackets by the time they get to The Glen! I did pick-up a new SPEED/RGM tee-shirt, so that I'd be race ready for tomorrow. Maybe I'll go up to Harrah's in a couple of hours and have Robby sign it.
