Does anyone know if Robby Gordon is going to Dumont Dunes to play in the sand before the Las Vegas, KOBALT 400?

maybe practicing for the San Felipe 250??
Years ago, when he was with RCR, they brought out the TT to the Nellis Sand Dunes here in Vegas. They were giving ride-a-longs for some Red Bull Vip's. I was invited out, (look at my photo page), but with two people in front of me for my ride of a lifetime, the truck broke something minor, but the team had no spares....Before that, some guy nearly killed himself by crashing hard into a ditch trying to stay in front of RG on the road. That was not a pretty sight.
Looks like you got some good stories in regards to RG. Really sucks that you didn't get the ride and that someone almost died trying to keep in front of the Master. RG used to always go to Dumont during the week of the Vegas NASCAR races. Wish we could see that more often.
i was there that day... he broke one of the drive shafts on the car (v-drive setup...not sure if the current TT is still that way or not). i took the drive shaft and one of his crew guys (donny i think was his name) down to dans drivelines if i remember correctly to get it resolved. fun day to hang with them all day...
There is an article on Nascar.com talking about Crafton and Gilland being at Glamis this week, but Robby didn't come out to play, didn't want to break the truck.
i bet the biff will be out there
Yah, driving a RGM built, bad a$$ sand buggy!
is it an rgm car?
Yes. Robby Gordon took Greg Biffle to Dumont a few times years back and the Biff ended up buying a RGM built sand buggy. TRUE THAT!
now thats good stuff thanks
No problem. Always willing to share some good RG trivia for a true fan.
Not to jack the thread, but last time I saw Biffle he was driving a Suspenions Unlimited car and i know he had Funco before that. I swear he only drove an RG ride for that video. But either way it is cool.
