Join in here and discuss all the weekend action for the 2011 Phoenix #1 cup race. Robby Gordon will drive the #7 Bashas/SPEED Energy Dodge.The team had a 14th place finish last year at Phoenix.Here is the weekend schedule for RGM at the Arizona track.

 Practice             2:30pm - 3:50 pm/et   ( 9th Quickest )
 Happy Hour        6:00pm - 7:25 pm/et   ( 26th Quickest )

On the 'DW blames Robby' point, it was good to hear Dave Despain defend Robby on Wind Tunnel and say that Robby not only made a great save but that he also had to get 'back in line'. And Larry Mac always seems to me to stand up for Robby. A good run top 10 run and they'll have to start talking about Robby and giving him some proper air time!

Nice to see Rob 1) properly quick in practice & 2) not running 3 laps in practice only. Good job everyone. Hope he comes out of this race the same as the last one.....ahead of the 48. Over the course of several races, just keep beating the 48 and you'll be in a good spot.

Was 2nd practice all race trim? or did they do 1 mock qual run?

Either way the race trim lap times are very stong, consistent and up there with the top cars..
