Like I have said before. Just because RGM gets a little manufacture support and is getting engines from Penske does not mean he is getting the full package and tech support like so many think he will be getting.

Like I also said RCR had been working on this cooling package for months and spending a bunch of money perfecting it. I would guess HMS and Roush were doing the same. I also heard that Gibbs teams were working on perfecting the two car draft rotation vs trying to go farther using cooling.

I sort of think the reason RG was so shocked (Freaked out) was the fact that in the off season RGM is focused on Baja and Dakar and CUP becomes third fiddle. If you want to be on top of your game in NASCAR and not be two or three steps behind you need to be 100% focused on the sport, even in the off season.

Like you said Fly if RG can stay clean he might get a top twenty and that is all you can expect or hope for. If people think RGM can truly compete for wins being part time then they dont really understand the sport and what it takes to be competitive in motorsports. RGM will fall farther behind then when they were full time and keeping up with the trends.

I for one was completely bored in my seat yesterday. The racing is complete shit. There is no such thing as a 3 + car pack anymore. As someone said, if there are an odd # of cars, someone is the odd man out. I've been going to Daytona for 14 years and this is the worst racing I've seen here. What changed? I know the track is new, but the cars aren't much different. I wouldn't think the nose caused this much of a change in racing, but I could be wrong.

I agree with you!!!! By lap 25 of the second duel, I was bored out of my mind. I sure hope all the super speedways are not going to follow suite. And I didn't even watch the first duel.

This two car train wreck is like watching paint dry!
