If this reporter knew what we knew listening to the scanner.

If only this guy heard when Robby told his spotter to ask the 10 for help since he was another lap down from him.. Crew chief said "sure", Driver Said "sure"... someone else came over the radio and said "no!" Geez.. I wonder who that was????

Quote:
Having raced against Robby Gordon for a number of years in Champ Cars, I would have figured that Patrick Carpentier was more than familiar with Gordon's style of racing – which, simply put, is "get out of my way or I'll wreck you." Gordon just flat-out ran over Carpentier late in the race, putting the Gillett Evernham rookie into the wall. The real story here is that both drivers are fighting for a spot in the top 35.

"I don't know what he doesn't understand in his brain there," Carpentier said. "He just took me out. That was it."

Gordon won this battle and remains in the top 35, while Carpentier's GEM Dodge is 38th.

However, keeping his team in the top 35 may mean nothing unless Gordon can keep his race team afloat amid the multiple lawsuits he faces and the absence of a deal with a manufacturer or sponsor for next season.

Thanks TOG! Good clip!
All thanks go to Spottedcow for providing this !
No sponsors for next year? So I guess Beam is gone?
I wouldn't assume dip shit Bob has his facts straight.....
I hope Robby put all 3 Gillett-Evernham cars in the wall every week.
Don't panic about Jim Beam. I spoke to some of the Beam guys Saturday night and they kept talking about Robby and 2009!
It was nice to see Robby finally put the chrome horn to work. Maybe he was pissed because Captain Kirk wasn't cowering and taking his shit so he dumped the #10 to get some of his frustrations out.
