I must say, I am hoping for a reverse paint scheme...all Black with a BIG birght orange Speed logo...

reminiscent of my favorite car...

the 31 Cingular black car with the HUGE Orange jack logo on the hood....
There is a diecast of that car, but it never raced in real life.

Nevertheless, I like the way you think. That reverse paint scheme would look awesome later this season...
I could have sworn it did...well it did race in Orange with a huge black jack logo....and yes, there is the diecast of the all black with orange jack..so I thought it did race...ahhh too many beers over the years! lol
I am with you Beagle7.
9 hoursof practice time is alot, me thinks Robby will sit out most as soon as it's dialed in....
Will they get extra sets of tires for these practice sessions since they'll get so much extra wear?
Probably, NASCAR is famous for "making up" rules as they go. Their rule book is like a subway turnstile.
I wouldn't think so. Maybe if he wins one of the first five!
This new partnership is probably just an associate for a few races throughout the season.
Maybe. Last year he said he would only race part-time, but he ended up running almost every race until the chase.
What is funny is NASCAR announced a whole new Qualifying formula for all the races except this one... You bet they make up the rules as they go.
I hope the format for this race never changes. IMO the twin races are the most interesting of speedweeks and they have been since I started going 15 years ago.
