No stage 5 for Robby Gordon....2011 Rally is now over for the #303 HUMMER.

Robby Gordon had right front wheel bearing issues before the start of the timed special, costing him about 5 hours. He completed the stage, but because he was late to the special, he is disqualified from the rally.

"This is not fair" said Gordon after the stage, "I can´t understand the descision of the Organizer ASO. During the stage the officials told me that we can still run, after the stage they told me I´m disqulified. I tried everything to start again."

The technical problems happened during the liasion, Gordon was waiting for the second Hummer of Eliseo Salazar and his Service-crew. But Salazar was still in the timed stage, the service trucks had to wait after all participants were in the stage because to fasten the border-crossing between Argentina and Chile.

"I don´t know if I will come back next year" said a disappointed Gordon. The second Hummer with Eliseo Salazar is still competing in 81st overall position.

HE WAS DISSAPOINTED THE OTHER YEAR SPENDING 3 MILLION AND THEY CANCELLED THE RACE BECAUSE OF THE FRENCH JOURNLIST THAT GOT SHOT AND SPENT ALL THE MONEY GETTING THERE FOR NOTHING

Hola!

I'm from Argentina but live in Spain, when I was a little boy I was lucky enough to see, feel and smell the amazing and banned Rally Group B cars in action,  and that thrilling feeling of danger, power and raw spectacle was never to be seen again in my country for over 20 years ... Until Robby arrived with the Dakar!!!!

Argentinians love passionate people, and give lots of passion and affection in return, I think Robby feels that... besides the whole business thing.... He still has the Eye of the tiger and will be back... just like Terminator did ;-)

Buffalo N.Y. sends flowers. but the lump is hard to wash down.  (No matter what the drink)
One thing RG does not lack is Passion for racing!!! My heart is heavy for the problems that faced RG this year at Dakar. Watching the video feeds was also nice to see the beauty of Argentina! Beautiful country Dinamo!
Thanks man I have a heavy heart to... and yes Argentina is a wonderful place! :-)

Not happy with this situation, but I would say today is not the right time to make any decision about what will be Dakar 2012, there is the hole year ahead of you and the new NASCAR season. Lift it up, rest and begin thinking about Daytona. RG, the best to you this year. Saludos desde Guatemala

# 1 thing. he has to get a 4x4 . #2 thing,he can put speed on any car.#3 thing, thanks T.O.G. for all your good work.

Our condolences from Oregon to Robby & Kellon.

r

remember all the complaining about being one and a half hours down : well that would be good for 7th place overall right now and just minuets  out of 6th with everybody in front of that still to have a problem , remember that next year

I hope Robby does run the rally next year but remember this, preparing for this event takes up a lot of time, effort, and money. Plus with the bad luck he's had in this rally I wouldn't blame him if he doesn't try next year.
Buy SPEED ENERGY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Deep pockets can do wonders for his racing programs. GUZZLE
Maybe Jimco should build Next years chassis for the Hummer as they just won another Chassis manufacture of the year award again this year  as the VW are doing well and they have a lot of Jimco Parts under there Body Panels
