Jan 6th Update On Robby Gordon

Ok...As you might have seen from the photos & videos , Robby is still in Chile driving his SPEED Energy HUMMER. Although he is no longer competing in the rally, he is there for support.Eliseo Salazar is still in the rally running the #327 .

Robby WILL be at Laughlin next weekend , Jan 14-16.

He's trying to catch the attention here in Chile. Maybe the CCU (Compañía de Cervecerías Unidas) finally will agree to produce and distribute SPEED Energy in Chile?

Unfortunately the SPEED energy in Argentina is not connected to RG.

As for the US: Their distribution plan is exceptional(I know this for a fact, if you don't have it nearby yet, you will very soon). I expect big things from this product. Monster Jam will be Awesome, Pro-2, Nascar, Score and maybe Dakar. Big things are to come!!!! Get excited RG fans, great things are to come!

I write the following comment with expected criticism:

Robby running Dakar next year in a SPEED Energy truck make no sense to me. SPEED energy is based primarily in the US with some, I repeat, some very limited international locations. IMO, I think it would be prudent of Robby to drive for a factory team next year with a SPEED associate sponsorship. We all know he is the best wheel man out there. The economy took a S*** at exactly the wrong time. Cut the losses now, promote SPEED in the US for 10 months and go dominate Dakar in 2012. Purely my opinion.

TOG: What is RG allowed to do. Can he actually run the course or does he travel the highways. Does he start with/behind the big trucks?, etc., etc.? Is he now carrying the extra weight, parts, etc.? Is Kellon riding with him?
