For those of you wondering about #303 & #327 Starting in the 21st and 23rd spot instead of 47th & 129th

ASO rules allow for "Reclassification":

20P3 RECLASSIFICATION

For safety reasons, at the end of each leg, and for all reclassifications, the sporting stewards may reposition, at their discretion, the ASO priority drivers and/or the first 20 overall in the car category, the first 10 overall in the truck category, in regard to the starting order of the following leg, upon request of the competitor to the Clerk of the Course, before 09.00 pm. During the whole event, reclassification will only be allowed twice per crew. In no case can such a repositioned car start in front of a car appearing among the first twenty cars in the start list of the Leg. In no case can such a repositioned truck start in front of a truck appearing among the first ten trucks in the start list of the Leg.

This looks good for Team Gordon, but it sounds like other teams can use it too, right? Kinda like a mulligin in golf, maybe?
Yes, VW did it for Miller. He finished 43rd but is starting in the Hummer Sandiwich in spot 22. Best part is 327 will be right behind 303 and could assist much better then a Fiat...

Thanks for the update....the only thing good about that whole ordeal was RG in an Orange Fiat! I wonder if he junked it trying to pull out the Hummer? Probably handed the owner a few hundred bucks and made his day!

I am praying it is not over for RG after today....

But the fiat is pretty entertaining :)
only if he could keep up!!! Not a good choice as a driver!!!  Money talks,,,, the only reason he is in the hummer!!
There is a lot more to this driver choice than just money! @speedenergy!
Both Hummers take a provisional.  Interesting, I was wondering how Chichert did that after day one.
GO ROBBY GO
So they've used 1 of their 2 allotted mulligans.  Thanks for the clarification.
