RG is a RockStar in Dakar and yet NASCRAP does not even get him any press for his efforts.   Can somebody help me understand why?  Biffle runs one race in the desert and he becomes the best cross-over driver in the world…

You have to face it gang,,, Nascar doesn't consider Robby as a top driver in Nascar and therefore he will not get the attention like one of their good ole boys. He is to independant for their liking, they prefer the instep guys with lots of money spent on the Nascar machines. And there is huge money in Nascar vs off-road or Indy for that matter.
nascar gives Robby plenty of coverage during Dakar. This is the same song & dance that preceded the 2010 Dakar rally & many had to eat crow sandwiches.

The name of the web site should tell you something;

NASCAR.com - primarily covers NASCAR, not Dakar, not SCORE, not NFL ...

planetrobby.com  - primarily covers Robby

thats correct...

besides, Bob Pockrass of Scene Daily did a great story on Robby Gordon.  The nascar.com story would NOT have been any better.

I was just on Nascar.com and searched for articles on Robby and Dakar. There was at least 6 decent ones during the 2010 Rally. They are all there people. Go read them............I heard crow tastes like turkey. A bit of mayo and some salt and pepper should do the trick............It's 2011 Dakar time.
Nice
I'd wager all the writers have pre-wrote season in review typer articles and taken the last couple weeks off. Things will likely pick up over there in the next week.

PS - NASCAR.com is still run by Turner Media, without direct management by NASCAR itself.
Jayski likes Robby too. But last year I remember nascar.com writing about robby almost everyday on the front page during dakar. Keep in mind it was nascar off season and they were not in Danica Patrick mode yet.
Thats cool. I see the last news post on jayski is currently about Robby.
Jayski is a Planet member and does visit.
Well stated and exactly my point.
