Robby Gordon pulled over by cops on Highway 77 in NC

Robby decided to test something on the car for the upcoming Phoenix race , a race that will sport the Polaris colors, and he got pulled over by the cops. Some changes have been made to the cup cars & Robby wanted to see how they were. Nothing like a highway to open the car up at full speed...lol...

Some media really get me riled. They are so into 'breaking news' that they have ruined team's announcements leaving them dull and unimportant when they finally are announced. Everyone is so concerned with the sport, I really think the media has to take a look at what they do as well.

Collectively, they are a bunch of suck-ups with the only goal in life to have the bad boys of NASCAR i.e. Tony or Kyle drop their name at news conferences.

It will be interesting to see what Robby has up his sleeve this time.

Whatever it is, it's bound to be something fun, and by all appearances will have something to do with the cup team.

looks more like statesville road than 77 and the burnouts more like the construction on 485 still being built. lol....did I give too much away? Love this. RG is awesome. cant believe some idiot media members are bashing him because of this. Any idiot can see this isnt real. If a member of the media thinks this will really fool people more than 10 seconds after they read the story and view the pictures then they need to get a clue. This is all in good fun. If more drivers who are the so called "popular ones" had a fun personality like this then the sport wouldnt have such low ratings. Like RG said in the NASCAR Illustrated article, this is the entertainment business! Watching the same people win and give the same boring speech everytime with no real emotion about anything is why NASCAR is losing its hard core fan base. I bet Dale Sr would have thought this was funny as hell (which it is)

I was wondering about the dumpsters on the other side of the road and the lack of other cars on the highway. Don't worry about giving anything away. I think this is a great publicity stunt. Especially after I couldn't find anything on the national or local news. Had Robby seriously taken a cup car out on the highway and opended it up, this would be a headline on Sports Center. Not like anyone really cares about the World Series this year. (Yes, I am a bitter Phillies fan.)
