That's been true up to this point, but there has to be a buyer. In the past, there has been. There will be a bump up this time. Let's look at what we know for certain:

The 19 and 98 are going away. We don't know how many cars Front Row will field. The 77 could go away. That's at least two slots and maybe a couple more, and this is all assuming that the 9 and 43 are back and that is not a certainty. That's the list of teams possibly going away. There could always be more in this economy. A lot of teams are a sponsor away from being gone.

Now, let's look at the teams that are expanding:

We can assume that RCR will do something for Menard's new ride. He could work a deal with the 78 or look elsewhere. That's probably one owner who will buy their way in.

The No. 10 of Labonte/Stavola is going to try to run full-time next year. They aren't going to buy points, because Labonte has the past champion's provisional.

That's it. We are going to have a net loss of teams, and as few as two and as many as FIVE are going to come out of the top 35, and that's assuming Front Row brings three cars back. Also, remember that the 09 is going to fold if Finch can't find a buyer. That's a team near the top 35 that will likely be gone.
I've lost the will to live...again.
I'm jumping out the basement window.
Good-bye cruel world.
A 30 Race SnPer gets what?? Maybe $2.8 Millon in Pize money??
Noooooooooooo WJM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WJM truly died the death of a RGM Fan!

(Taps plays lightly in the background and the curtains fall....)
maybe he used a parachute or maybe a umbralla, saved his life....
Maybe he rolled into a mud puddle and Drowned.
oh dear....
I didn't get to watch - did he slip or was he just too conservative?
NASCAR penalized him a half second for running the same paint scheme on two cars.
Stupid gravity.
#71 is going home right, so we need some 15 points 0n the 71 right.5 cars need to park or crash. lol
71 is in.. not good. off to see the last nascar race in st. louis mo.
