TV missed us.. Oh well, We got TV time in Practice..
38 just got in

by 2 thousandths of a second

darn
and, the 7 was slower than two of the cars that are going home (87 and 55). Not good -- the team needs to really focus on stepping it up in qualifying and getting Kevin some practice in going faster (though Extenze may not like that ;-). Obviously something is off and methinks it is not all the car.
Kevins first time ever driving a cup car at Kansas , I'd say he did a good job. he keeps picking it up every session. He was 8 tenths off the pole speed . Not 8 seconds.
Too bad the 07 wasn't there to bump them out. I look forward to seeking Robby bump them out of the race at Charlotte.
Seems like Conway has a soft pedal, maybe add some oomph to it might help, anything would help, but he starts ahead of the cars he has to beat, see what happens on race day, new special Conway race car didn't help much, what happens Sunday should tell us fans alot....
Thank god for owner points
Robby DNQed a race at Kansas before. Kevin did good for his first time ever in a cup car there.

By the way , pulling for KC is optional. nobody says you have to. Robby returns to the #7 at Texas & Phoenix.
I am still pulling for Kevin Conway, but looking forward to when it is not as painful to watch ;-) I am sure he will be better on raceday.
This is not a pulling for Conway thing, it's more a #7 thing, we (fans) want to see RGM do good and not see (be careful of what I say here) be let down when were led to believe a new car will make a rookie go faster than when he drove "junk" or seat time is helping get faster, sorry it don't conpute..
New car, New track, New driver. Conway doing a good job for RGM.
Kevin was faster than Blaney and Tony Raines- two veterans. This is a step in the right direction.
