What would be RGM's biggest prize?

We love our boy Robby Gordon and all his diversity. By being a fan of Robby, I have watched and followed events I never watched before like Indy, Baja, and Dakar. I'm a Nascar fan that became a Robby Gordon fan. I have often wondered, what would be the biggest impact to Robby Gordon Motorsports:

 

Winning the Daytona 500, Winning the Indianapolis 500 or winning Dakar & Baja in the same year. Any would be a tremendous accomplishment and not out of the realm of coming true.

 

Robby has won a Gatorade Duel race and has had opportunities on the plate track at Daytona, Robby had the Indy 500 won before running out of fuel in the closing lap, and Robby has won a stage at Dakar proving he has the capability to compete for the Dakar Championship. We know it is a possibility for Robby to accomplish one...but which one would make the biggest impact with sponsorship and opportunities for Robby Gordon Motorsports. 

 

In my opinion winning the Daytona 500 would have the biggest impact...but I'm partial to Nascar.

If we are talking money its the Daytona 500. NASCAR is the biggest auto sport in the world, like it or not. Its what people watch. I love DAKAR, but in the states its hard to even catch it on TV.

Don't bother looking at the purse for Dakar or Baja. A Late Model 'special' race pays more or a start and park for a NW or CWTS pays more.

1. Dakar
On a global impact scale nothing else would compare.
2. Indy 500
Open wheel as a whole is less than a shadow of its former glory, but the Indy 500 is still the Indy 500.
3. Daytona 500
Not nearly the global impact of Dakar or the legacy of Indy. What did it do for Derrick Cope?

Hey,Derrick is in the Yakima Speedway Hall of Fame. That and a buck and a half will buy a Happy Hour Beer!

exactly...Although the money is much bigger these days even with this economy. $1.5 million (this years payout)could get Robby through a few more races..

Winner Payouts:

Daytona 500 - a little over $1.5 million
Indy 500 - a little over $3 million
Baja & Dakar (Combined) Approx - $500,000 (? from other sites, not positive on this figure)

i think if its for the moiney is the Daytona 500 but for Robby is the Dakar.
