Pole is going to JV..
What a hell of a pole battle.
Pole battles in Canada are best done on the dance floor
that was the best q session i have seen in awhile great run by leffler and robby cant get any luck this year.
so, RG clocks in 16th after an eventful qualifying session.Probably best to go ahead and get the car fixed and start in the back. Better to come from the back in a NW field than a cup field. No way can he go the distance without the left front bead blower & brake duct.
Is this an impound race? Don't understand why he would have to go to the back. Does Crashlowski have to go to the back he changed brakes before quals?

I know Engines are auto to the back regardless of when the change occurred. So if RG changes some brake stuff then Crashlowski should too. I peronally don't think the brake changes are subject to the "go to the back" rules. It isn't the engine or tranny.
Any repairs made to the car AFTER qualifying will result in a rear of the field start.

I thought it was an exploded tire at first. He wouldnt have made another lap if that was the case, and the hauler would be headed back to NC tonight.
yea I agree....get the car fixed and get to the front...just watch out for the ground hogs and squirrels in the back...and by the way...I want to ride in the boat on the St. Lawrence river!
checkers or wreckers..... should be fun.
Why can things not just go smoothly, Just one time ? One darn time. Its like he's a real dark thunder cloud hanging over him every where.
I just finished reading a book about an incredibly talented F1 driver who seemed to have only bad luck which prevented him from winning anything. His name was Chris Amon. Robby and he have to be related down the line.
What ever could break on a car broke on Amon's or he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Parts that just don't ever go wrong went wrong on his cars! Robby is a modern day Chris Amon, and from what I can understand that is no bad thing because he was one of the best of his era. Seems some drivers just get them kind of cards handed to them.
never a dull moment.
