no he hardly gets talked about on ovals i think it would probably be mentioned at the start of the race and thats it. i bet you hardly any one knows
Bingo!!
Robby is worried about owner points, that's an auto-paycheck. 07 is additional income .
I see no reason for RG to be in the #7, unless the #07 is a DNQ. Otherwise, what's the point?
BTW - paid, two-car testing opportunity is always good.
I would assume so... The big teams drive each others cars occasionally to test different feels or setups.
Just saw Tony Raines in for Kevin Conway at Michigan
I don't think the Conway to RGM speculation is over folks. Raines replaced Conway in the FRM ride this weekend. Extenze stated yesterday that they will continue to support Conway and that he is the foundation of their Nascar program for the future. While it is questionable the amount of talent Kevin has, he does have a full-time sponsor which is gold in this day and age. There's some money to keep it going and have the ability to run a second car and build for the future. Go get em' Robby!
And a vote of confidence from management is the kiss of death for a baseball manager.
Considering Conway already ran Michigan earlier this year, not a good sign pulling him on Friday...ineteresting to see what develops...
Well, Conway has a Cup license so it's hard to criticize. Plus, he is out there turning laps, getting experience, and staying out of the way. Haven't heard any of the veteran drivers complain about him. There are worse drivers Extenze can sponsor.
No Kevin is not currently out there running laps. Extenze just announced they are on a "hiatus" from Cup racing. So therefore Kevin is not in the 34 car.
