I have to ask.....i'm that freaked out

 Was there a "reason for the departure of Gene from the team. I have my own opinions as well as everyone else, some we most likely share. What was the straw? Are we trying to lure Larry Mac out of his cozy home and back into the game with all this madness? I just can't get a grip on this revolving door anymore. Maybe it's none of my business and I should just roll with this punch like the rest in life.

For the memebers that missed Gene's response to a question last week in the Pocono tread. I'll try reposting.
And since Gene has a Championship ring on his finger and has seen RGM's equipment first hand, I'm obliged to believe Mr.Nead.

Anyone know what happened to the thread about Gene? I saw it, couldn't find any info on any NASCAR related sites......joined here, and by the time I got approved.....it was gone

I guess I'm not qwit sure what your looking for. The link I posted above was from last week when Mr.Nead announced to the Planet that he was no longer with RGM. If you click the link,than go back a couple of pages you'll be able to read most all of his posts. Hope that helps.

Thought I saw a thread where folks were thanking Gene and something to the effect of missing him on Speed Factory.....it was Friday, I think....by Saturday it was gone. I am new to this site, so maybe I mistook a reply for a headline, I'm not sure. Been reading through that link you posted.....ol' Gene got a little animated!!!! LOL! Thanks for the info.

Let's face it... RGM has lack of sponsorship. Sponsors want to win races so they get noticed on TV. RGM is not winning. The driver while known in the sport as talented is not a young gun and a hot shoe and does not get talked about during the race. So why as a sponsor should one shovel some money to RGM? Maybe the time has come for Robby to become the Owner and emulate Childress.

I am a long time Robby fan.  The weather is stormy.  I'm sticking around.  We as fans have the right to be frustrated, however never lose your faith.  Bottom line with sponsors it creates an environment of calm that allows everyone to do the job to make the team successful.   When the money is low, pressure is very high.  Mistakes breed mistakes.  Gas on Robby
