Mobil 1 likely to Stewart-Haas (Khane? or Team sponsor for Newman and Stewart)

Menard to RCR (Depends on RPM's outlook for 2011)

AJ leaving RPM (to Penkse?)

RPM going from 4 teams to possibly 2 or 1? (Waiting on AJ & Best Buy decisions)

I am glad that team is staying intact.
Another rumor seems to be that NASCAR will tinker once again with the Chase in 2011, apparently moving even father away from the old format that rewarded consistency and closer yet to one that's about sudden ellimination and spectacle.

Their idea of ending the season, and wrapping up the championship, with a race at Daytona gives us some idea of the France families thinking.

Expecting that in 2012 they will introduce rotating knives on the front hubs of the cars, much like the ones on the chariots in Ben Hur ?
Get rid of the Chase.
Get more points for a Pole.
Get more points for a Win.
Get more points for RC Win.
Reduce teams to no more than two cars each.

I am sure it all depends on a sponsor but with the MWR affiliation I'd gamble that Trevor Bayne takes the seat.

As for Mobil 1, aren't they going with the Toyota Camp? They'll probably sponsor the Gibbs cars or an MWR car next year.

I hate to say it but Ambrose needs to be back in a Ford as he was in his V-8 days.

Worse yet, none of this affects or helps RGM in my opinion. Robby needs to get the intermediate track cars figured out and compete for the win at WG or else it could be a long off season of speculations that never come to fruition.

Remember that Gibbs manufacture's their own oil.That rules out Mobil1 to Gibbs.RGOR use's Mobil1,maybe theres something there?

I would love to see Labonte back in a full-time ride with decent equipment. If Marcos doesn't take the sponsors with him, the 47 should be solid with BL.
I believe the sponsorship at the 47 comes from one of the team owners, who also owns the collection of brands on the car.
I wasn't aware of this. Good info. I don't think going from the 47 to the 9 is a step in the right direction.
Hendrick will sign Ambrose, and pimp him & Khane out to the highest bidders. He's making money doing everything else...
