Is it possible to buy a robby gordon diecast car through his RGM store and have it autographed. The only track I'm close to is watkins glen and I dont know if i'll ever get there with the way my job is.

I have a fifth of Jim Beam, still unopened, signed by Robby at The Glen two years ago! That, along with my jacket, a hat or three, my #31 Cingular FDNY car, a #7 Menards die-cast, a pre-Hummer VW off-road, and a few other items... Robby is a great diver when it comes to taking a minute for his fans. Whether it's a handshake, a pic, an autograph, he truly demonstrates his apprciation of his fans. At Las Vegas, the day before the race, when NA$CAR was jerking him around at tech, as bad a day it was trying to hget the car ready, through inspection, and then out on the track for practice and qualifying (he never did go out to qualify, but started at the back on owne points), he still had a smile, a wave, and thumbs-up for the fans watching the crew work on the car in the Neon Garage. He's a "person", unlike some of the NA$CAR primadonna's...
Thats why im a robby fan, im sure he doesnt whip donuts in the dakar on public roads for himself, he does it to win fans and it works! he's human, shows emotion and is the only nascar driver ive ever seen get out of his car a pull on the fenders and look things over. Hes not a corporate robot either, he'll mention his sponsors but not as bad as some other (24 dupont pepsi valvoline goodyear chevrolet impala SS) drivers
As far as getting out of the car and pulling on the fenders that is a no-no just ask Sterling Marlin who got a big screwing for it. Now where when and how did Robby do this? Got my homemade red 7 flag signed last year and this year another great homemade item.
its in one of the videos here i think he was doing some testing it wasn't during a race
Only a no-no during a red flag - that's what Marlin got nailed for.
sent a picture to RGM for autograph and sent a pre paid self addressed stamped envelope and never got it back.picture you see in my profile.
Wow, that sucks. I am sure Robby never got it!!! The folks at his shop are brutal about responding to fans, the exact opposite of Robby. He doesnt even have a fan club, yet he was second in voting to only Kasey Kahne at the All-Star race vote in a few years back. I am sure with his fan base it could support a fan club. He used to have one in the early 2000's. Sorry Bro, maybe someone at Planet Robby will read this and find it.
Easy on the peeps in the office guys. They are as busy as anybody in the shop. Call the office, ask the questions....A closed mouth will never get fed. I've bought stuff online before & asked that it be signed before shipping. Still got it to the door inside of a week.
Thats good info. Im not bad mouthing anyone, I know they work hard, Im just saying responding to fans isnt their thing, and maybe someone should be in charge of RG fans there, because I dont believe anyone is. In the past 5 years I have mailed 2 letters and sent 4 emails trying to get basic info and not one was responded to. It seems a lot of other RG fans share the same experience. As my first post said, and Mike/WC77 confirmed, calling is probably the best option to get answers.
where would you find a number to call?
Same thing happened to me, Brian. Also had a constumer service issue with an order I placed a few years ago, and they were very rude about the whole thing. The number listed at the time was out of service. I think I ended up faxing them.
I am a fan in England, just ordered 2 t-shirts and 2 diecasts. The staff were great as we had to sort out shipping, i asked them to throw in a sponsor card if possible. Imagine my delight last week when a box arrived, including said sponsor card signed by Robby, plus BOTH diecasts signed on the windshields by Robby. My view is based on my own experience of course, but i found them to be really helpful in sorting out some gear for someone on the other side of the Atlantic where shipping etc is more difficult (and expensive!) and they went out of their way to provide me with some items which to me are now absolutely priceless. Well done everyone at RGM!
