2010 Chicagoland 400 Race Info & Discussion

Join in here and discuss all the weekend action for the 2010 Chicagoland 400 cup race.Robby Gordon will drive the #7 Mapei/Menards Toyota.This weekend's schedule is somewhat different,as all practice & qualifying will be held in one day,and the race the following evening.Here is schedule for RGM at the Illinois track.

FRIDAY , JULY 9th

Practice           12:30pm - 2:00 pm/et   ( 42nd Quickest )
Practice 2          3:15pm - 4:00 pm/et   ( 30th Quickest )

Practice Live Leaderboard

FRIDAY , JULY 9th

Qualifying           6:00pm - 8:00 pm/et   ( Starting 38th )

SATURDAY , JULY 10th

Raceday           7:00 pm/et , greenflag at 7:46 pm/et ( TV - TNT )

No way. The season should end in Homestead like it does. Bruton Smith rags on that track every chance he gets, then uses their variable banking as a model for his own. The championship should stay in Miami. Besides, it's too hot down here to race any other time of the year so hard to reschedule. I'm waiting to see what happens with their standard 1 pm start time. It's one of the reasons this race moved to 3 pm start the last couple of years. Way too hot. But the fishing is great so the teams can party here too before heading to the desert.
