Nascar.com is reporting that Robby has decided not to run next weekend at New Hampshire because of lack of sponsorship. Robby Gordon Motorsports will be running a car with P.J. Jones only. Is this true!

LOL....better get it under 16sec.
$15k gets an un-sponsored car to run the entire race?
Can someone confirm that?

If that's the case, I'm in for the 1st $1k.
not even close. $15k - 20k just for tires
then there's the gas, ice for the engine, nascar fees each time the car goes through inspection, food, lodging for the crew and PJ for the weekend, etc..
Don't forget the lobster and clam bake, and the tickets for the Cog Railway.
Couldn't get my husband to go up the railway, so we just drove to the top. He really didn't like that much either.
I say have RGM call Jerry Buss of the Lakers. Paint the car purple and gold, put the laker logo on the hood and send it off to New England. The car will get some attention for sure after last weeks game 7 in LA.
Am I missing something here because i went to Jayski and here is the entry list for NH.

No need to post the entry list, i already did, even before Jayski had theirs out. And i had PJ
NEVER go against the Entry List King !
While I am dissapointed that Robby won't be driving this weekend, I do recall before the start of the season when it looked like Robby would only be driving 12-15 races all year. In some ways, we have been very fortunate that he has ran as many as he has so far. I was explaining to my 14 year old step daughter the whole S&P thing yesterday and she gets it. Told her what Robby would be doing for this weekend and she said, "While that has got to suck, it makes sense." Bottom line is it's strictly a case of money and there are only so many dollars to be budgeted and eventually, you've got to make decisions that are financially sound for the good of the over all program. Fact is there is no sponsor. As such, Robby doesn't run this weekend and PJ does a S&P for the team so we get SOME owner points. Remember folks, it's not always about driver points, but it's the owners points that gets you in and keeps you in the show.
