With the #26 'only' 78 points behind Robby I'm more worried about Boris than JPM. He could easily punt the #7 into the tires early and with a lot of cars being able to stay on the lead lap, 30 minutes in the garage making repairs......Well, that would just suck.

I sure hope Boris thinks different....paybacks are a bitch......Nascar or Baja....I thought Boris's dream was to drive Robby's TT? Hopefully he will be nice to RG tomorrow.

I would think that Boris has respect for Robby, and would really rather beat Robby than punt punt him sloppily on the first lap. I think that there are a few other goofballs out there that just plain lack the talent for roadcourses that are a larger threat. The really trouble happens when two gooballs get near each other, or someone is out there with a wounded ride. Pray Robby doesn't fall victom to these.

Agreed. The field tends to stretch out fairly quickly....just hope he doesn't get caught up in someone's mess. 15th place is about the right place where the field stacks up in Turn2 if top ten don't get through clean. We'll have to keep our fingers crossed. If he gets through there clean on Lap 1, I think were good. The guys 20 on back seem to be parked through 2 on Lap 1.....they must be expecting a wad. Maybe Rob should just pretend he is in the Trophy Truck and cut turn two early (ha ha, just kidding) . Our biggest threats are the lady luck fuel stop and mechanical failures. Barring those, it's going to be fun.

I agree. missing an accident in the first few turns of lap 1 is the thing Im really hoping for today. This is the year things don't go wrong for the # 7at Sears point.

I just read SpottedCow's twitter comments. Between that, the practice times, and qualifying, I do not see where people are "getting a feeling" from. The car does not seem capable running with top 5. That is a real bummer.

This situation (lacking front bite, wont turn on entry, tight, however you want to spin it) sounds like what Pratt&Miller went through with a Cup car they built for Fellows to run a few years back. I wont get into the details of what they learned after the race and what they finally figured out. Basically, they concluded the car was built based on theory and expertise that didnt transfer well to Nascar.

4th fastest average lap times in final practice. I think RG wants more from his setup, but he can still get it around the track.

What speed charts are you looking at? According to jayski.com, that might have been true for the second practice (I did a quick glance, looks to have a top 5 average), but every car ahead of him for single lap speed has a faster average lap time in happy hour...

Sorry, you're correct. I was looking at 2nd practice averages. He was slower in happy hour.

JV had one of the fastest cars all day long at RA and finished 25th...lol...Also, being that the #07 is RGs backup, dont think for a minute that he attacked the track in practice like he will once the green flag drops. They are pretty confident they got the issues from yesterday squared away now.
