First practice today: 34th 16 laps. Happy Hour: 33rd, 25 laps.

Very impressed with Paul Menard. Although they're two different beasts, Paul running the NW series is beginning to pay dividends.

Yeah Menard is diggin this weekend.. he's got a hotrod, hopefully them boys can keep up with the racetrack tomorrow. Would be nice to see someone like that compete for a win.

Joe Nemechek ran 4 laps total today. Gee, I wonder if he's going to start and park?

Bobby Labonte 15 laps total. That's just sad.

Why do the S & P's practice at all after qualifying?
Is it just for show? Is there a NASCAR rule??

So they are safe to drive for the handfull of laps they do run,make sure nothing is hitting, no leaks, etc..
