Obviously, he prefers to be in Baja. I would imagine it gives him warm and fuzzy feelings of success. God knows his cup endeavors don't. I feel l sad because I know he's one of the best drivers on the circuit, but his desire to make ALL decisions connected with his team has hindered every effort he has made in NASCAR. I would like to think that not making this race will wake him up, but I'm not holding my breath.
Pre-running. Baja has sponsors, NASCAR does not. Unfortunately the result now is that it will be even more difficult to attract sponsors to the NASCAR program.

Anyone that thinks RG is going to show up out of nowhere on Saturday and just spank the current TT field is delusional. There is talent in the field and other quality trucks.
Yeah and so ? I swear, folks here talk like they wont be happy unless Robby just says fuck it and retires. Then the same folks will be the ones crying for him to race again.
So, the point is that being competitive at Baja will still require effort and dedication from that team. People shouldn't presume that someone could stay 100% focused on the Cup operation and just show for a hobby drive in Baja and win with the field of drivers that are there.

It answered the question that was asked, why RG was in Baja and not at Pocono. Do you have a better answer? Was I wrong? If so, then honestly, correct me. Give an answer yourself. I'm pretty sure I'm correct on this one.....
Why does TOG owe you an answer? You jump on here and start throwing your negative thoughts like you have all the answers. Where is your Cup or TT program?

People here need to get a life. This is a sport and RG's business. I only wish I had the opportunity to do 1/10th of what RG is doing right now.

If you don't like his product then feel free to move on.
RG is damned if he does , damned if he doesnt. Pathetic. Rg owes NONE OF US.
thats racing. get over it. Your "gear" doesnt self destruct with a missed race .
MEEEEE, of course and we live in the US and have freedom of speech. My frustration is I was hoping this was a RG fan sight. I sure hope my family and friends talk about my decisions and my results like the so-called RG fans talk about RG and RGM on this site. I have even invested money in their success. With fans like these ...

Who on here is a owner / driver that competes in three major series (Cup, Dakar, and Score)? Unless you walk in his shoes then your opinions and suggestions really don't mean much.

I bet there are many on the planet that have thrown or caught touchdown passes in high pressure situations. If not then I bet you criticize those who have.

It's a race, a sport. It's a hobby for us to watch.
Does this mean Robby won't make the "CHASE"?!
eye roll
Missing this race could mean missing more races. It doesn't matter if this wasn't one of Robby's better tracks, now he has to qualify on time until he gets back in the top 35
Ted Muskrat strikes again. He needs to stay in CWT where he sucks less.
