Great run by Robby Gordon at Phoenix, finishing 14th and locking back into the top 35 for Texas. No looking back now !  Great to see Gene Nead helping out again. Monster time at Texas !

TOG, any insight on how things transpired over the week... We see Stanley is the crew chief, hear Larry is still with the team & Gene ends up calling the race. Great finish, just curious how it all came about. Didn't know Gene was even with the team!

Also, I would love for Robby to have stayed out, but probably would have got wrecked. Wish he had gone for 2, but that's behind us. Great safe call and solid finish
Gene Nead was a surprise to all of us. How it transpired, etc, I guess thats between RG and Gene . Robby has a plan of attack in place.
Do any of us really need to know the how and why of Robby and Gene getting back together for this race ? The way I see it , all we need to know is that they worked together and it turned out to be a great race for RGM .
damn dvr quit recording before the gwc. what position was the 7 for the last two laps?
He went from like 19 to 14. I padded out the timing on the DVR and was able to catch it. Not at home now to confirm but I think I am close.
thx
It was nice to see RG run well and get a ton of air time. I was watching at a friend's house so I didn't hear about much that was said on TV. I hope to see more of the same in the future and I trust confidence is high at RGM. I got a bit nervous there at the end when RG was in that wad of cars, but he used that to his advantage and brought home(what looked like) a clean car.
Outstanding
Nice job guys
Is Gene back full time?
great run for robby and the team tonight. kept thinking that he was losing spots in the final run to the checker though, but i think there was another car that kinda looked like his. was great to see a 14th place finish, almost to be a 13th since it looked like he was halfway up on harvick at the line!

when the cars started to pit though, i really thought robby would stay out but also thought there would be more too stay out. it would have only worked if robby and the cars behind him would have stayed out to give him a chance to stay up front though since tires were always good. also, got worried on the run robby was talking about when he was so loose after going back to green but he was able to gain spots back with the long green flag run to get back to 16th before that final caution came out.

either way though, was a great run last night for the team and i hope there is nothing but good to follow. sure bam is thrilled too. probably first good run they have had in 5 years too :D
It was nice to see the #7 on TV som many times yesterday. Congrats to the team and good luck for Texas.
Now that's some racing I can watch!! Great job by RGM!
great run last night. congrats to rg and the team
