It DOES matter that he hasnt run a mock q lap yet. He is on the same tires he started practice with ( 23 laps so far ) and that will give RG plenty of sticker tires for Happy Hour to make nothing but Q runs.

Robby is pretty happy with the car. They are now going to switch over to qualifying trim

good to hear! Either way it will be a tight qual session....I mean only 4 tenths separates 3rd from 35th....

I just am anxious to see what kind of mock Q lap he can turn, so we have an idea the range he will be in. Hoping they get to make 1 Q run before Happy Hour, but nevertheless, an entire session for RG to get it dialed in for qualifying.

You know when you go to NASCAR.COM, click on 1st practice and the top 6 or 7 cars are there and you hope you that see Robby's name there also but never do, so you keep scrolling down and scrolling down untill almost at the end and then you find Robby ?

I'm starting to get fed up of this. Just sucks.

Some f1 drivers can wheel a car too. NASCAR hasn't exclusive rights on the best drivers Walt.
