Robby Gordon Martinsville Preview

Charlotte, NC (March 25, 2010) – The No. 7 Warner Music Nashville / Blake Shelton Camry speeds into Martinsville Speedway this weekend with high hopes after recording a season-best finish of 22nd at Bristol Motor Speedway last week. After an unlucky start to the 2010 season, the team looks forward to the challenge of recording another strong finish at the 0.526-mile short track to obtain a spot within the top-35 Sprint Cup Series owners’ points.

Robby’s Thoughts – “Martinsville Speedway is different from any other track on the Sprint Cup circuit,” commented Gordon. “Its tight corners and flat banking present a whole different set of challenges from every other short track that we visit. Not only is it a tough track on the driver, but it’s also hard on equipment. I’m confident in my team’s ability, and I’m sure that they built the Warner Music Nashville / Blake Shelton Toyota Camry to the challenges of Martinsville.”

Thank you,My memory wasn't clicking,Hmm another investment!
Robby having a spotter that also wrenches on the car is a good thing.
Yep,Always a bonus have skilled eye's observing. Is Jay Lupo still with the team?
I can't tell you how many times I've heard the second paragraph over the last two years alone. I'd love for it to happen but words eventually need to translate to results.
It was M'ville, what do you expect. On to Phoenix!
man do we need a road course next weekend, even though he has been less than stellar the past years on them, 54 pts is huge and he has not run very well at PIR. Hopefully he can catch a break and some of the other bottom feeders have bad luck.
All Robby needs to do is ride for a couple of races and let the other fall behind him.
I think it will be tough to get back into the top 35 without some good runs (like back to back top 20's). Those Front Row cars aren't fast but they make their laps and stay out of trouble on the track.
Robby's driving style is just to aggressive for Martinsville, He always breaks something.
for the future make the car Robby proof.
robby proof
there is no such thing
finished the race was an accomplishment in itself. its not going to be easy getting back in the top 35
