Robby Gordon Martinsville Preview

Charlotte, NC (March 25, 2010) – The No. 7 Warner Music Nashville / Blake Shelton Camry speeds into Martinsville Speedway this weekend with high hopes after recording a season-best finish of 22nd at Bristol Motor Speedway last week. After an unlucky start to the 2010 season, the team looks forward to the challenge of recording another strong finish at the 0.526-mile short track to obtain a spot within the top-35 Sprint Cup Series owners’ points.

Robby’s Thoughts – “Martinsville Speedway is different from any other track on the Sprint Cup circuit,” commented Gordon. “Its tight corners and flat banking present a whole different set of challenges from every other short track that we visit. Not only is it a tough track on the driver, but it’s also hard on equipment. I’m confident in my team’s ability, and I’m sure that they built the Warner Music Nashville / Blake Shelton Toyota Camry to the challenges of Martinsville.”

can some1 please post updates in here? I can't see the chat on my cell phone.

did they just wreck infront of robby?
I am watching it on Nascar.com (the results). If Stremme wrecked, it was behind him. He is consistently moving up...
is his car ok
yep. cant see anything so post away! thanks
#42 blew a tire and put debris everywhere, NASCAR did not throw a caution, then 2 laps later RG melted the bead and tire went down, and we ended up in the wall.
Not only did the 42 blow a tire, it was sticking out of the wheel well sideways, but no caution....imagine that...if the 24, 48, or 88, etc. had been in the lucky dog postion, the caution would have been out immediately!
Tough to watch. Seems like the #7 is out to lunch this year. 25 laps down now.
It's not a lack of effort by anyone, a lot of bad luck, we had a good car for today.
he did..at charlotte
They cant use the race tires , so its a moot point. Part of nascars testing ban years ago.
54 points from 35th..Owners points, not driver
54 points back... That sucks. He needs to beat the car in 35th by 18 positions. In other words, he needs some top 20's sooon!
